Section 133 Investments and Securities Act

Section 133 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about False or misleading statements. It is under Part XI (Trading in Securities) of the Act. It provides as follows:

A person shall not make a statement, or disseminate information, which is false or misleading and likely to induce the sale or purchase of securities by other persons or likely to have the effect of raising, lowering, maintaining or establishing the market price of securities.
