Section 115 Nigeria Police Act

Section 115 of the Nigeria Police Act 2020 is about Establishment of State Community Policing Committees. It is under Part XIV (Community Policing Committee) of the Act. It provides as follows:

(1) A Commissioner of Police of a State shall, in collaboration with the State Executive Council, establish a State Community Sub-Policing Committee.

(2) A State Community Policing Committee shall, subject to subsection (3), consist of representatives of Divisional Community Policing Committees designated for that purpose by the Divisional Community Policing Committees
of a State concerned.

(3) Subject to section 116(1)(b) of this Act, the Commissioner of Police in a State and the members designated by him, from time to time for the purpose, shall be members of the State Community Policing Committee concerned.
