Section 1 Nigeria Police Act

Section 1 of the Nigeria Police Act 2020 is about General objective. It is under Part I (Preliminary) of the Act. It provides as follows:

The objective of this Act is to provide for a more efficient and effective police service that is based on the principles of-

(a) accountability and transparency ;

(b) protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms; and

(c) pru1nership with other security agencies.
