Rule 605 Federal Rules of Evidence

Rule 605 of the Federal Rules of Evidence is about Judge’s Competency as a Witness. It is under Article VI (Witnesses) of the Rules.

The presiding judge may not testify as a witness at the trial. A party need not object to preserve the issue.
