Rule 35 Rules of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners

Rule 35 of the Rules of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners (RPC) 2023 is about Lawyer and tribunals. It is under Part IV (Relations with the court) of Chapter 1 (Conduct) of the Rules. It provides as follows:

A lawyer appearing before a judicial tribunal shall accord due respect to it and shall treat the tribunal with courtesy and dignity.
