Order 63 FCT (Civil Procedure) Rules 2025
Order 63 of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2025 is about Fees and allowances. It contains the following rules:
- Subject to the provisions of any written law and of the
preceding Orders –
a. The fees set-out in the First, Second, Third and Fourth
Schedules are payable by a person commencing the
respective proceedings or desiring the respective
service specified in those Schedules;
b. The allowances set-out in Part II of the First schedule are
payable to the various categories of witnesses
mentioned in it, by a person at whose instance they
testify, but a witness who testifies at the instance of the
Court acting on its own motion shall be paid out of
public revenue.
- The Regulations set-out in the Fourth Schedule shall be
observed by all officers of Court concerned with the
rendering of services, and/or collection of fees payable,
under the provisions of the preceding Orders.
