Order 52 FCT (Civil Procedure) Rules 2025

Order 52 of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2025 is about Change of Legal Practitioner. It contains the following rules:

  1. Every legal practitioner who is engaged in any cause or
    matter may, by notice withdraw from or discontinue his
    representation either for the claimant or the defendant.
  2. A notice for a change of legal practitioner or withdrawal
    shall be filed and served by the party or the legal
    practitioner as the case may be.
  3. A legal practitioner who has withdrawn appearance for a
    party in a cause or matter may be re-engaged by the same
    party, by notice to the Court.
