Law School Scholarships 2026
Learning at the Nigerian Law School (NLS) is a compulsory vocational training for all law students in Nigeria who intend to be called to the Nigerian Bar. Admission to the Nigerian Law School also comes with the requirement to pay tuition fee and other costs. With a Law School Scholarship, an indigent student can also be part of this programme.
Whether you choose Lagos Campus, Abuja Campus, Yola Campus, Kano Campus, Enugu Campus, Port-Harcourt Campus or Yenagoa Campus, getting the right scholarship can make things much more affordable. While some scholarship opportunities have stopped receiving applications, others are still open.

1. Perficient Law School Award Scholarship Program 2.0
The Perficient Law School Award Scholarship Program is an initiative created by Halimat Edun, ACIarb. to support aspiring lawyers who have shown grit, excellence, and an unwavering commitment to their academic journey.

2. Davidson Oturu Law School Scholarship 2026 For Nigerians (Fully Funded)
The Davidson Oturu Mentorship Programme is pleased to announce the fourth edition of its scholarship scheme for prospective Nigerian Law School (NLS) students.
They welcome applications from passionate law students who have strong academic qualifications, leadership skills and are in financial need to commence their studies at the Nigerian Law School. If you possess the required qualities and are resuming at the NLS for the 2025/2026 session, kindly apply below before the stated deadline.

Deadline for all applications is 15th January 2026 at 11:59pm (WAT).
Please note that they will not accept applications after this date.
Kindly note that all shortlisted candidates will be required to present proof of admission into the Law School.

3. Popoola Taiwo LP Annual Law School Schorlarship Program 2025/2026
The scholarship program will feature the full payment of the tuition fee for deserving law students who have exhibited notable academic achievement in their study of law at any recognized university accredited by the Nigerian University Commission (NUC).
Eligibility for this Scholarship
1. Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen
2. Applicant must have graduated from a recognized university accredited by the National University Commission.
3. Applicant must have been admitted to the Nigerian Law School for the 2025/2026 academic session.

1. LL.B Certificate or Statement of result

4. Reginald Aziza Leadership in Law Scholarship Award
This year, Reginald Aziza is offering both Scholarship and Mentorship for Nigerian Law School Students.
The scholarship welcomes applications from prospective students to the Nigerian Law School with demonstrably strong academic qualifications and leadership skills, but who are in need of financial assistance, whilst the mentorship scheme welcomes prospective students with exceptional academic ability and potential.
To ensure opportunies are spread to as many candidates as possible, potential applicants are asked to apply for EITHER the scholarship or the mentorship programme but NOT both. No applicant will be shortlisted for consideration for both the scholarship and the mentorship scheme. Furthermore, applicants on other scholarship/mentorship programmes will not be eligible for an award.

5. The Ike Obiora Law School Scholarship 3.0
Are you an LL.B graduate aspiring to attend the Law School but constrained by financial limitations?
The Ike Obiora Law School Scholarship 3.0 is now open.
Through the Ike Obiora Law School Scholarship, two qualified law school candidates will be selected as “Ike Obiora Scholars” and awarded a scholarship of ₦500,000 each to support their Nigerian Law School program.
Eligibility
Only Aguata Local Government Area indigenes are eligible to apply for the Ike Obiora Law School Scholarship 3.0. Applications from non-Aguata indigenes will not be considered.
