Section 243 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Notices to be given to parties. It provides as follows:

The Court shall cause reasonable notice of the intention to take the evidence of a seriously ill person and of the time and place where it is to be taken, to be served upon the prosecutor and the defendant, and if the defendant is in custody he shall be brought by the person in whose charge he is under by an order in writing of the Magistrate to the place where the statement is to be taken.
