Rule 1002 Federal Rules of Evidence

Rule 1002 of the Federal Rules of Evidence is about Requirement of the Original. It is under Article X (Contents of Writings, Recordings, and Photographs) of the Rules.

An original writing, recording, or photograph is required in order to prove its content unless these rules or a federal statute provides otherwise.
