Section 479 Indian Penal Code

Section 479 of the Indian Penal Code 1860 is about Property mark. It is under CHAPTER XVIII (OF OFFENCES RELATING TO DOCUMENTS AND TO PROPERTY MARKS) of the Code.

Property mark

A mark used for denoting that movable property belongs to a particular person is called a property mark.
