7 U.S. Code § 349 is about “State” defined. It is under Subchapter IV (Agricultural Extension Work Appropriation) of Chapter 13 (Agricultural And Mechanical Colleges) of Title 7 (Agriculture) of the Code.

The term “State” means the States of the Union, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.
