7 U.S. Code § 2544

7 U.S. Code § 2544 is about Research exemption. It is under Part K (Infringement of Plant Variety Protection) of Subchapter III (Plant Variety Protection And Rights) of Chapter 57 (Plant Variety Protection) of Title 7 (Agriculture) of the Code.

The use and reproduction of a protected variety for plant breeding or other bona fide research shall not constitute an infringement of the protection provided under this chapter.
