6 U.S. Code § 563e is about Consistency with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and departmental policies and directives. It is under Part B (Transportation Security Administration Acquisition Improvements) of Subchapter XII–A (Transportation Security) of Chapter 1 (Homeland Security Organization) of Title 6 (Domestic Security) of the Code.

The Administrator shall execute the responsibilities set forth in this part in a manner consistent with, and not duplicative of, the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the Department’s policies and directives.
