3 U.S. Code § 6

3 U.S. Code § 6 is about Duties of Archivist. It is under Chapter 1 (Presidential Elections and Vacancies) of Title 3 (The President) of the Code.

The certificates of ascertainment of appointment of electors received by the Archivist of the United States under section 5 shall—
(1) be preserved for one year;

(2) be a part of the public records of such office; and

(3)be open to public inspection.
