1 U.S. Code § 4 is about “Vehicle” as including all means of land transportation. It is under Chapter 1 (Rules of Construction) of Title 1 (General Provisions) of the Code.

The word “vehicle” includes every description of carriage or other artificial contrivance used, or capable of being used, as a means of transportation on land.
