Section 446 Indian Penal Code

Section 446 of the Indian Penal Code 1860 is about House-breaking by night. It is under ‘Of Criminal Trespass’ of CHAPTER XVII (OF OFFENCES AGAINST PROPERTY) of the Code.

Whoever commits house-breaking after sunset and before sunrise, is said to commit “house-breaking by night”.
