Section 52 Joint Revenue Board of Nigeria (Establishment) Act 2025

Section 52 of the Joint Revenue Board of Nigeria (Establishment) Act 2025 is about Official secrecy and confidentiality. It provides as follows:

(1) A person in an official duty or being employed in the administration of this Act shall regard and deal with all documents and information as secret and confidential.

(2) A person in possession of or in control of, originals or copies of any document or information, who at any time communicates or attempts to communicate such information or anything contained in such document, other than a person to whom he is authorised by the Board to communicate it, commits an offence under this Act and is liable on conviction to fine of N500,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or both.
