Section 44 Marriage Act

Section 44 of the Marriage Act 1914 is about Personation in marriage. It provides as follows:

Whoever personates any other person in marriage, or marries under a false name
or description, with intent to deceive the other party to the marriage, shall be liable
to imprisonment for five years.
