Section 258 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Bench warrant where the defendant does not appear. It provides as follows:

Where any person against whom information has been duly proffered, and who is then at large, does not appear to plead to such information, whether he is under recognisance to appear or not, the Court shall issue a warrant for his arrest.
