Section 260 Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL) Lagos

Section 1 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Arraignment, time for raising certain objections. It provides as follows:

(1) The person to be tried upon an information shall be arraigned in accordance with the provisions of sections 211 to 216 of this Law.

(2) An objection to the sufficiency of evidence disclosed in the proof of evidence attached to the information, shall not be raised before the close of the prosecution’s case.
