Section 247 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Power to bind parties to be of good behaviour. It provides as follows:

In any summary trial, the Court may, whether the charge is to be dismissed or not, bind over any person involved in the charge with or without a surety or sureties, to be of good behaviour, and may order any person so bound, in default of compliance with the order, to be imprisoned for any term not exceeding three months, with or without compulsory labour, in addition to any other punishment to which such person is liable.
