Section 182 Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL) Lagos

Section 182 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Non-attendance of witness on adjourned hearing. It provides as follows:

Every witness who is present when the hearing or further hearing of a case is adjourned, or who has been duly notified of the time and place to which such hearing or further hearing is so adjourned, shall be bound to attend at such time and place, and, in default of doing so, may be dealt with in the same manner as if he had refused or neglected to attend Court in obedience to a summons to attend and give evidence.
