Section 139 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Arrest on breach of recognisance for appearance. It provides as follows:

When any person who is bound by any recognisance entered into under this Law to appear before a Court does not appear, the officer presiding in such Court may issue a warrant directing that such person be arrested and brought before him.
