Section 113 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Destruction of forged banknotes. It provides as follows:

If in consequence of the execution of a search warrant, there is brought before any Magistrate any forged banknote, bank-note paper, instrument, or other thing, the possession of which, in the absence of lawful excuse, is an offence triable on information according to any enactment for the time being in force, the Magistrate may cause such thing to be defaced or destroyed.
