Section 53 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Information of plan to commit an offence. It provides as follows:

Every Police Officer receiving information of a plan to commit an offence shall communicate the information to the Police Officer to whom he is subordinate, and to any other officer whose duty it is to prevent or take cognisance of the commission of such offence.
