Section 5 Rent Control and Recovery of Residential Premises Law

Section 5 of the Rent Control and Recovery of Residential Premises Law of Lagos State 1997 is about Appointment of part-time Magistrate. It provides as follows:

(1) For the purpose of this Law, the Governor shall have power to appoint part-time
Magistrates (hereinafter referred to as Magistrates) as Chairmen of the Tribunal.

(2) The Magistrates shall be legal practitioners with not less than 5 years post call
qualification experience.
