Section 13 of the Property and Conveyancing Law of the Western Region of Nigeria 1959 is about Limitation and prescription laws. It provides as follows:

Nothing in this Part of this Law affects the operation of any enactment or of the
general law for the limitation of actions or proceedings relating to land or with
reference to the acquisition of easements or rights over or in respect of land.
