Section 320 Investments and Securities Act
Section 320 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Disqualification of members of the Tribunal. It is under Part XVII (Establishment, Jurisdiction, Authority and Procedure of The Investments and Securities Tribunal) of the Act. It provides as follows:
A member of the Tribunal shall cease to hold office if he —
(a) becomes of unsound mind or owing to ill-health is incapable of carrying out his duties;
(b) is adjudged bankrupt or he makes a compromise with his creditors;
(c) is convicted of a felony or any offence involving fraud or dishonesty by a court of competent jurisdiction;
(d) is guilty of serious misconduct in relation to his duties; or
(e) is disqualified or suspended from practising his profession in any part of Nigeria or outside Nigeria by the order of any competent authority made in respect of him personally.
