Section 298 Investments and Securities Act

Section 298 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Summary procedure in special cases. It is under Part XVI (Issuance of Securities) of the Act. It provides as follows:

Subject to laws applicable to the administration of the estate of a deceased person, the registrar may summarily determine an application by the beneficial owners of securities in its custody where the nominal or face value does not in aggregate exceed N50,000.
