Section 295 Investments and Securities Act
Section 295 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Indemnity bond. It is under Part XVI (Issuance of Securities) of the Act. It provides as follows:
Where an application is made to the registrar under this Part for the issuance of a duplicate certificate or for the exchange, renewal, consolidation or sub-division of any certificate, the registrar may require the applicant to execute a bond to indemnify the body concerned against the claims of persons claiming under the original certificate or under the certificate so exchanged, renewed, consolidated or subdivided in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Commission.
