Section 287 Investments and Securities Act
Section 287 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Waiver by trustees. It is under Part XVI (Issuance of Securities) of the Act. It provides as follows:
Except otherwise directed by a resolution passed by a majority of bond holders at a meeting duly convened for such purpose, the trustees may, in the interest of the bond holders, waive a breach of any covenant or provision of this Part by a body or an authority acting in that behalf:
Provided that such a waiver shall not affect the rights of the trustees in respect
of any subsequent breach.
