Section 244 Investments and Securities Act

Section 244 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Registration of collateral management company. It is under Part XV (Commodities Exchange and Warehouse Receipts) of the Act. It provides as follows:

(1) A person shall not operate a collateral management company without registration by the Commission, and a collateral management company shall provide the services stipulated in the rules and regulations made under this Act.

(2) The collateral management company shall make necessary arrangements for provision of pledging against a warehouse receipt and the activities of eligible pledgees.
