Section 222 Investments and Securities Act

Section 222 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Penalty for contravention. It is under Part XIV (Investor Protection Fund) of the Act. It provides as follows:

An exchange, its director, official or employee, who contravenes any of the provisions of this Part, is liable to a penalty of N1,000,000 and a further sum of N25,000 for every day during which the violation continues.
