Section 217 Investments and Securities Act

Section 217 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Power to settle claims. It is under Part XIV (Investor Protection Fund) of the Act. It provides as follows:

The board of trustees may, subject to this Part, settle any claim for compensation from an investor protection fund as may be determined, by an exchange, the Commission or the Tribunal.
