Section 208 Investments and Securities Act
Section 208 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Minimum amount in investor protection fund. It is under Part XIV (Investor Protection Fund) of the Act. It provides as follows:
(1) An investor protection fund shall consist of such minimum amount as may by regulation be approved by the Commission to be paid to the credit of the investor protection fund on the establishment of an exchange.
(2) The board of trustees shall have the discretion to determine the amount or minimum amounts to be contributed by each dealing member firm to the fund subject to the approval of the exchange.
