Section 202 Investments and Securities Act

Section 202 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Powers of the board of trustees. It is under Part XIV (Investor Protection Fund) of the Act. It provides as follows:

Without prejudice to the provisions of the Trustees Investments Act, the board of trustees shall have power to —
(a) administer the investor protection fund as to engender investors’ confidence and promote general market development;

(b) prepare its own rules governing the operations and effective management of the investor protection fund subject to the approval of the exchange and the Commission; and

(c) perform any act incidental to or in relation with the operation and management of the investor protection fund.
