Section 136 Investments and Securities Act

Section 136 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Prohibition of fraudulent means. It is under Part XI (Trading in Securities) of the Act. It provides as follows:

A person shall not directly or indirectly in connection with the purchase or sale of securities employ any device, scheme or artifice to defraud, or engage in any act, practice or course of business which operates as a fraud or deceit upon any person.
