Section 16 Investments and Securities Act 2025

Section 16 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Service in the Commission to be pensionable. It is under Part III (Staff of the Commission) of the Act. It provides as follows:

(1) Service in the Commission shall be public service for the purpose of this Act and accordingly, every staff of the Commission shall be entitled to pension and other retirement benefits as prescribed by law.

(2) Nothing in this section shall prevent the appointment of a person to any office on such terms and conditions, which preclude the grant of pension and other retirement benefits.
