Section 139 Nigeria Police Act

Section 139 of the Nigeria Police Act 2020 is about Repeal. It is under Part XVII (Miscellaneous Provisions) of the Act. It provides as follows:

(1) The Police Act Cap P19 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 is repealed.

(2) Subject to section 6 of the Interpretation Act (relating to the repeal of enactments), the repeal of the Act referred to under subsection (1) does not affect anything done or purported to have been done under it.
