Section 124 Nigeria Police Act

Section 124 of the Nigeria Police Act 2020 is about Powers of traffic wardens. It is under Part XV (Traffic Warden Service) of the Act. It provides as follows:

A traffic warden appointed under this Act shall, when on duty­
(a) have the powers, privileges and immunities of a police officer under any law relating to the regulation of road traffic; and

(b) be in uniform within the Police’ State Command in which he is appointed to serve, but not elsewhere.
