Section 81 Nigeria Police Act

Section 81 of the Nigeria Police Act 2020 is about Re-arrest of suspect escaping. It is under Part VIII (Warrants) of the Act. It provides as follows:

Where a suspect in lawful custody escapes or is rescued, the person from whose custody he escaped or is rescued or any other person may pursue and re-arrest him in any place in Nigeria.
