Section 231 Child’s Right Act

Section 231 Child’s Right Act 2003 is about Apprehension without warrant. It is under Part XX (Child Justice Administration – Adjudication) of the Act.

A child shall, whilst he is detained in or on leave from an approved institution in accordance with the provisions of this Act and also being conveyed to or from the institution, be deemed to be in legal custody an if the child escapes, he may be apprehended without Warrant and brought back to the approved institution.
