Section 71 Evidence Act 2011
Section 71 Evidence Act 2011 is titled ‘Facts bearing upon opinions of experts‘. It is under Part IV (HEARSAY, OPINION AND CHARACTER EVIDENCE: RELEVANCE AND ADMISSIBILITY) of the Act. It states as follows:
Facts not otherwise relevant are relevant if they support or are inconsistent with the opinions of experts, when such opinions are admissible.
